Logistics Officer
The Logistics Officer will ensure a seamless flow of resources and communication between our Superintendent, field, and Project Management. You will know the flow, everything that happens in the company, and track production.
You will Oversee and organize the movement of equipment, trucks, and materials promptly and ensure the inventory has been delivered
You will track and record production and logistics along with the flow of company activities
You will ensure that orders are processed accurately and that each transaction is complete and executed smoothly and precise in location and timing
You will facilitate communication and act as a liaison between the Superintendent and Project Management and address logistical needs
You will propose strategies to minimize costs, including scheduling and fleet movement coordination.
You will manage the inventory and maintain an accurate count to avoid shortages and overages
You will be able to make quick decisions and solve challenges
You will coordinate and map out driving routes for safety and time to maximize productivity
You will follow OSHA/DOT safety standards and regulations
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills to handle the demands of coordinating various departments and ensuring operational efficiency. Someone open to adjusting workflows, changing needs, or challenges. We will require regular check-ins, to discuss the progress, and address issues.
Requirements:
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug test
- Must have a valid driver's license, MVR record
-Must have a current medical DOT certificate
- Heavy equipment experience is preferred
