Job Description
The ideal candidate will be tech savvy and bring years of accounts receivable and cash management experience along with proficiency in Excel. This role is responsible for daily management of incoming customer payments, accounts reconciliation, and several financial reports. The candidate will thrive in an environment with high volume of customers, be flexible with daily challenges, and manage accounts receivable with energy and accuracy. The candidate will enjoy improving processes while primarily focusing on optimizing the receivables function for the company. Job Qualifications
- 3 years of accounts receivable experience required
- Experience with ComputerEase and QuickBooks preferred
- Exhibit self-direction, initiative, resourcefulness, and follow-through with the ability to work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, analytical and recording skills
- Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrate extreme professionalism and confidentiality
- Associates Degree or equivalent
Job Duties
- Apply and deposit payments received for all Evans Group companies
- Reconcile daily, monthly, and annual financial accounts
- Correspond with customers and respond to inquiries
- Research and correct account discrepancies
- Create general ledger entries and credit invoices, as appropriate
- Produce financial reports, including daily sales, daily cash, accounts receivable, monthly and annual reports, and other reports requested by senior management
- Create and distribute monthly customer statements for all accounting systems
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
