We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lawn/ Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead and manage a lawn maintenance crew of 2-3 members. You’ll be expected to take a company truck, trailer, and equipment along with crew members and complete daily lawn maintenance routes. Candidates should be able to step into this role with little training. Pay is based on experience and future promotion is possible based on quality of work, dedication, punctuality, etc.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• PREVIOUS LAWN MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE
• A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Be extremely detail oriented when it comes to the appearance of properties being serviced.
• Commitment to deliver high quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
• Be dependable, punctual and trustworthy.
• Be able to work without supervision while managing crew members, routes, equipment, etc. and complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Minor mechanical “Know-How” to fix equipment issues that may arise in the field.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members alike.
• Pass a drug test.

Duties:

• Oversee daily activities of a lawn maintenance crew to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Coordinate/ perform daily lawn maintenance activities via company truck, trailer, and equipment.
• Follow and adhere to a daily route to ensure properties are serviced to the upmost standards in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular lawn care activities such as mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
• Perform groundskeeping tasks to keep outdoor spaces clean and well-maintained.
• Train team members on best practices in landscape maintenance techniques and safety protocols.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition, making repairs when possible and servicing when needed.
• Operate a plow truck during winter weather events.
• Help with landscape install projects when needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
