Description
- Assist Employee Benefits Account Managers in managing a portfolio of client accounts, serving as a key point of contact for client inquiries and administrative support.
- Coordinate the implementation of new benefit programs and changes to existing plans, working closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution.
- Prepare and distribute client communications, including open enrollment materials, benefit summaries, and plan documents, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation, including enrollment forms, eligibility lists, and billing statements, using CRM and benefits administration systems.
- Process employee enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefits administration platforms, verifying eligibility, coverage levels, and premium calculations.
- Assist with the resolution of client inquiries and escalations, liaising with carriers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to address issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Support the preparation of client reports and presentations, summarizing key metrics, trends, and performance indicators, as requested by Account Managers.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in employee benefits administration, participating in training and professional development activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- 1-2 years of experience in administrative support or customer service role, preferably in employee benefits, insurance, or HR-related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with CRM and benefits administration software preferred.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
