Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Medical-Surgical Tele Registered Nurse (MS/Tele RN) to join our team on 5 North Searle. As a valued member of our nursing staff, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced setting, providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care to patients on 5 North Searle, utilizing evidence-based practices and critical thinking skills to address complex medical needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies
- Participate in ongoing education and training initiatives to stay current with best practices and advancements in telehealth and emergency response
Requirements:
- Current RN licensure in the state of Illinois
- 2 years of experience as a Medical-Surgical Tele RN or equivalent
- Active BLS certification
- Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias, as well as respond effectively in emergency situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
