What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Asst (Full-Time) position at Evanston Regional?
Primary Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for preparing treatment rooms for examination of patients, interviewing patients, measuring vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and recording information in patients' charts. Drawing and collecting blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis may also be required.This position may also assist with some off-site occupational medicine clinics and administrative tasks as necessary.

- Ability to efficiently complete tasks in a timely manner without direct supervision
- Possess attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Willingness to cross-train and work as part of the team to complete tasks
- Answering phones, scheduling, appointments
Education, Licenses/Certifications, and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification, preferred
- Previous experience with occupational medicine, preferred
- At least 1 year experience working in a medical clinic
- Familiarity working with EMR systems, preferred
- Previous experience in customer service
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
