The job of the Behavior Technician is done for the purpose / s of providing social / emotional and co-regulatory support to the school program with specific responsibility for assisting in the supervision, care, and instruction of students, all of whom have identified special education needs in a self-contained special education classroom; monitoring student behavior during nonclassroom time; providing information to appropriate school personnel, and assisting in data collection as needed.
Qualifications :
- Minimum Associates Degree
- Illinois Paraprofessional or Substitute Teacher license
- Job related experience is desired
Compensation and Benefits (2024-2025 school year)
Starting Salary : 38,000 annually
