 What You’ll Do:
- Program Development: Create and continuously improve digital skills curricula, incorporating emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Instruction and Facilitation: Conduct classes at various skill levels, both virtually and in-person, using a blend of theoretical and practical learning.
- Assessment and Reporting: Measure participant progress, evaluate teaching effectiveness, and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders.
- Professional Development: Provide digital skills training to Goodwill employees, supporting their career growth and development.
- Community Engagement: Liaise with local IT employers to align our program with workforce needs and career opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science or related field, with relevant teaching experience.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in coding, programming languages (e.g., C , Python, G-code), and other IT areas relevant to advanced manufacturing.
- Inclusive Teaching: Experience working with diverse populations, creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Dynamic Leadership: A results-oriented mindset with strong facilitation and presentation skills, capable of motivating and engaging learners.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to interpret data and report on student progress.
