What You’ll Do :

As our Controller, you’ll provide oversight to our finance department while maintaining internal controls and ensuring financial data accuracy.  You’ll be key in providing financial reporting to leadership to help in decision-making to supporting the mission of Evansville Goodwill.

Your key responsibilities will include :

Department Management : Oversee and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, grant management and payroll.

Financial Reporting : Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in accordance with GAAP.

Internal Controls : Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Collaboration : Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor budgets as well as provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.

Innovation : Partner with leadership to design strategies for short-term and long-term growth.

What You’ll Bring :

Experience : At least two years of expertise in a controller or similar role with a CPA designation preferred.

Skills : Strong attention to detail paired with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Tech-Savvy : Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting system management.
