- Teaches corporation-approved curriculum
- Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at the times designated

- Evaluates pupils’ academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records and prepares progress reports
- Is available to students and parents for education-related purposes
- Makes adjustments in teaching style and content to meet the learning styles of all students
- Incorporates practical applications to basic skills in English, communication, and mathematics into classroom delivery of the technology curriculum
- Instructs students in safety procedures and conditions for working in a machine intensive laboratory
- Purchases, stores, organizes, and maintains laboratory supplies
- Participates on appropriate committees at the building and corporation-wide level, as necessary, for designing and implementing curriculum and/or evaluating programs
- May participate in or sponsor Career and Technical Student Organizations appropriate to curriculum area
- Promotes student self-esteem and confidence in all aspects of classroom activities
- Completes other duties as assigned

- Establishes and maintains dual credit agreements with universities
- Prepares students for industry certifications such as MSSC, OSHA, and others as needed.
