What are the responsibilities and job description for the CONSTRUCTION LABORER position at Evansville Water and Sewer Utility?
DUTIES:
Repairs or replaces all waterworks apparatus including water lines or valves using
hand or power tools.
Digs and replaces dirt.
Sets up barricades and flags traffic as
required.
Works any shift, overtime, weekends and holidays as required.
Performs
other duties as assigned and assists other employees as required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; will consider applicants
without diploma based upon experience demonstrating required
abilities and skills.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s
license.
Incumbent must possess a thorough knowledge of and
experience in construction and possess practical knowledge of tools,
machinery and equipment with good mechanical aptitude.
