The Controls Team at EVAPCO at Evapco’s Alcoil facility in York, PA supports the HVAC, Industrial Refrigeration and Power markets at all 22 Evapco locations in 10 countries. EVAPCO’s Controls Engineers develop next‐generation technologies that meet the evolving needs of our global customers. The available position is responsible for providing first‐class customer service, technical support for our sales representative force and a liaison between internal Product Development and Marketing teams. We are looking for self‐motivated engineers who possess highly effective written and verbal communication skills, the ability to build relationships both with global Evapco team members, as well as Evapco’s Independent Sales Representatives and support our customers via virtual and onsite assistance.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide timely and accurate responses to our representative sales force.
• Check orders and submittals for accuracy.
• Work with Controls Engineers to determine the best solution to facilitate custom requests.
• Generate custom submittals to customer’s requirements.
• Answer technical questions from customers on various Evapco control products.
• Coordinate field service for start‐up, commissioning and troubleshooting.
• Assist Marketing on generating quality reports, remediation plans and identifying necessary replacement parts to solve field issues.
• Participate in customer visits at Evapco Headquarters (Taneytown, MD) as a technical advisor facilitating electrical controls discussions.
• Furthering the electrical controls knowledge of Evapco Marketing and the Independent Sales Representatives.
• Occasional travel to North American representative offices and customers.
• Attend calls with customers, on site technicians or site integrators to handle inquiries on shipped projects.
• Occasional travel to customer sites to provide technical support on electrical controls.
