As a Maintenance Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment within our facilities. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding parts, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and a commitment to safety and quality.
Must be 18 years of age due to safety concerns and equipment operation.
Valid North Carolina drivers License required
Key Responsibilities :
Fabricate and repair metal parts and structures using welding, cutting, and machining techniques.
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to implement effective repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
Operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in welding / fabrication is a plus.
Proven experience as a fabricator, welder, or similar role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) and metalworking tools.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and machinery.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to safety and quality standards.
