Now hiring for Full-time Operators for Southeastern PA Safety Service Patrol (SSP)- Chester County, PA area
Full-time - 5:30 AM -9:30 AM and 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM, Monday thru Friday
The primary purpose of SSP is the ensure the roadways are free of obstructions and safe for the traveling public.
- Monitors the safety of the roadways
- Provides roadside assistance to stranded motorists (including changing tires, giving battery jumps, providing fuel, removing vehicles and debris from the travel lanes)
- Communicates with Traffic Operations Center (TOC) staff with regard to disabled vehicles, abandoned vehicles, debris, and lane-closing events
Minimum of one (1) year of Towing experience required.
License/Certification
- Valid Class C Driver's License required
- CPR/First Aid (preferred not required)
- FEMA 100 (preferred not required)
- FEMA700 (preferred not required)
- National TIMS (preferred not required)
- Wreck Master 2/3 Training (preferred not required)
Ideal for retired emergency personnel.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
