Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Fine Dining Server to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to our guests in an upscale dining environment. You will be responsible for creating a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and beverage service while maintaining a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that all items meet quality standards for presentation and temperature.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area to ensure a pleasant environment for guests.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Participate in banquet services as needed, providing support for larger events or private dining experiences.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food service practices, including food safety and handling protocols.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and attention to detail.
- Experience with restaurant operations, including familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred but not required.
