The position of Hotel Maintenance Supervisor entails overseeing the repair and upkeep of the property’s physical assets to ensure compliance with state and local regulations, hotel policies, and brand standards regarding quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, safety, and security.
Job Summary:
- Report directly to the Chief Engineer.
- Assume full responsibility for maintenance tasks related to the building, aiming to deliver a distinctive guest experience.
- Ensure all equipment on-site is properly maintained and operational at all times.
- Safeguard both the internal and external integrity of the building.
- Proactively identify potential issues that could impact guest experiences and address them promptly.
- Conduct systematic inspections of all guest room electrical appliances, circuits, televisions, refrigerators, and light fixtures, with the ability to repair most deficiencies to maintain functionality.
- Respond promptly to repair requests from staff and guests.
- Be knowledgeable about all major shut-off stations, including water, electricity, sprinklers, and fire alarms.
- Report significant repair needs to the Chief Engineer and General Manager.
- Complete the Preventative Maintenance program checklist and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Perform all duties in accordance with Safety and Security Policies.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and Blood Borne Pathogens standards.
- Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
