Job Title: Help Desk Specialist—FL-DOH Patient Care Programs
Location: 4025 Esplanade Way, Tallahassee, FL 32311 (Onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Short Description:
The Florida Department of Health (FL-DOH) – Bureau of Communicable Diseases is seeking a Help Desk Specialist to provide technical assistance and customer service for its Patient Care Programs. This is a full-time, on-site contract role based in Tallahassee, FL.
Job Duties:
- Deliver front-line technical assistance and exceptional customer support to internal and external users of Patient Care Programs.
- Respond to inquiries, troubleshoot system issues, and document solutions.
- Provide support through phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Perform clerical and data entry duties as needed to maintain accurate program information.
- Support program operations with professional communication and timely task execution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Customer Service: Minimum 3 years of experience delivering customer service support.
- Clerical/Data Entry: At least 2 years of clerical experience, including troubleshooting and data entry.
- Technical Proficiency: Minimum 3 years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Work Environment: Previous experience in a professional office setting.
