Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Generalist to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, team member relations, and compliance. The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted partner and point of contact for team members, ensuring HR strategies effectively align with organizational objectives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- HR Support:
- Collaborate with the HR Manager to execute HR strategies and initiatives.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the HR Manager as needed.
- Function as a backup for the HR Manager during absences or high-priority projects.
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Coordinate full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, candidate screenings, interviews, and offer letters.
- Oversee the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new team members, facilitating paperwork, benefits enrollment, and system setup
- Team Member Relations:
- Serve as the first point of contact for team member inquiries and concerns.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to team members and leadership.
- Mediate and resolve team member disputes professionally and confidentially.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws across Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Florida.
- Maintain and update team member records and HR documentation.
- HR Administration:
- Manage benefits administration and enrollment processes for team members.
- Generate HR reports and analytics to support organizational decision-making.
- Lead or contribute to HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Schedule:
- Full-time position, Monday – Friday.
- Flexible working hours within standard business times (8:00am–5:00pm).
- Occasional travel (5%–10%) to markets such as Columbus, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach.
- This role requires an on-site presence at our Cleveland location; remote work options are not available.
Work Conditions:
- Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to warehouse environments, some of which may not be climate-controlled.

Qualifications:
- Preferred 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on generalist responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
- Experience supporting remote locations and teams is highly preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of human resource laws, policies, and resolutions.
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
- Effective communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Exceptional multitasking, prioritization, and time management skills, especially in demanding environments.
- Proven ability to maintain patience, empathy, and professionalism while providing constructive feedback.
- Completion of a Behavioral and Cognitive Assessment through the Predictive Index.
- Successful completion of a company background check and drug screen.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
