What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVMC COLLEGE INTERNSHIP APPLICATION position at Event & Venue Marketing Conference (EVMC)?
The Event & Venue Marketing Conference is a conference that brings together diversified events and venue professionals across North America to cultivate inspiration, collaboration, and innovation for the growing entertainment industry.
As a not-for-profit organization, EVMC has always been committed to educating and growing the current and next generation of event marketers. Networking, educating, and sharing trends and ideas across these disciplines through various industry leaders is a critical aspect of not only the Event & Venue Marketing Conference but the success of the live entertainment industry.
The 2025 Event and Venue Marketing Conference is taking place in Atlanta at the Westin Peachtree Plaza from June 4-6, 2025. Interns will need to be on-site in Atlanta from June 3 to June 6.
The internship is designed to give anyone a chance to break into the Live Entertainment Industry. As an intern, you will be able to connect with the top industry professionals while helping run the conference. To date, EVMC has had over 100 interns & has helped place interns into roles with top venues, promoters, & tours. EVMC INTERNSHIP INFORMATION
- Applications must be submitted by April 4, 2025.
- Up to eight* Conference Internships will be awarded.
- Internships include all EVMC registration fees and hotel accommodations. Travel stipends are available if the applicant does not currently reside in the host city.
- In return for expenses paid, Interns will be expected to assist EVMC Planning Committee members prior to and throughout the conference with database management, social networking, registration, collecting surveys, team building activities, taking pictures, taking notes, etc. as assigned.

APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:
- Enrolled college student or recent graduate.
- Interested in event marketing, social media, digital marketing, public relations or group sales industries.
- 21 or over (at the time of the conference) to apply.
- Have a current/valid passport and/or legal photo identification.
- Applicants CANNOT be employed full-time at the time of internship.
