This is a full-time remote position working Pacific Standard Timezone hours. Please note that we can only consider candidates who reside in Canada with valid working status.
What You'll Do
- Drive automation test strategies and work directly with the automation engineer and dev team to enhance and scale automated test solutions/frameworks.
- Create efficient test plans and maintain the test case repository as our product grows in functionality.
- Support the Product QA team with release testing both manual and automated.
- Work cooperatively and effectively in an agile team environment.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration of automated testing in the release cycle.
- Collaborate with the QA team to identify tools and methods to improve QA processes.
- Continuously find opportunities to remove inefficiencies and take measurable steps to create additional value for the team through continuous improvement practices.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
What You Bring
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 5 years of experience working in QA, with at least 3 years experience as an SDET or Automation Engineer.
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Experience with mobile app testing on real and virtual devices.
- Proven experience creating automation frameworks and tools to support test automation.
- Strong in Object Oriented programming preferably Python is a must.
- Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Appium etc.
- Hands on Experience with testing RESTful data services, web services and APIs (REST/JSON)
- Document and mentor other Engineers in the use of our testing frameworks.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, technical aptitude, attention to detail.
- Strong ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.
- Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks.
