Eventide Senior Living Communities is seeking part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work the Every-other Weekend shift.
Job Description
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate LPNs who can provide high-quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have an active Minnesota LPN license or be able to obtain one upon hire.
- Assess residents' needs and health status through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
- Provide individual attention to encourage each resident's ability to maintain or attain the highest physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Observe and follow residents' plans of care, updating and making changes as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments, monitoring their effectiveness.
- Provide direct nursing care to residents according to established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Comply with rules and regulations set forth by the Minnesota or North Dakota Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
- Document accurate information in residents' electronic medical records.
Responsibilities
The LPN will be responsible for:
- Providing accurate documentation in the residents' electronic medical record.
- Assisting in orientation/training of new team members.
- Reporting resident needs, problems, and observations to the Charge Nurse and/or attending physician.
- Maintaining adequate staffing levels during scheduled shifts.
- Monitoring the activities and functions of subordinate staff.
- Ensuring work responsibilities are completed thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An active Minnesota LPN license or ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Senior Living and/or Long Term Care experience preferred, but not required.
