Director of Nutrition and Culinary
Eventide Jamestown is seeking a Director of Nutrition and Culinary to oversee culinary services in the Skilled Nursing Facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plans, organizes, and directs clinical nutrition and culinary services in accordance with local, state, and federal laws.
- Maintains quality nutritional services and ensures a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
- Provides leadership to create a pleasant dining experience for residents and guests.
Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Dietician (LRD) or Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) in North Dakota.
- Registered Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
- Previous Long Term Care and/or Senior Living experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition and/or Dietetics preferred.
Essential Job Duties:
Operational:
- Establishes and implements Nutrition and Culinary Services policies and procedures.
- Maintains food productions, sourcing, and inventory standards.
- Develops individualized care plans and nutritional assessments.
- Prepares reports on departmental activities.
Compliance:
- Monitors nutrition and culinary quality, safety, sanitation, and compliance.
- Maintains all Nutrition and Culinary Services records.
Leadership:
- Monitors and supervises Nutrition and Culinary Services staff.
- Evaluates staffing needs and maintains adequate staffing.
- Hires new employees as needed.
