Description
The Fabricator team member will contribute to the custom fabrication of EventLink’s experiential marketing agency. Our focus is on quality artistry and superior workmanship that focuses on bringing our creations alive, from small scale to large scale. We're looking for passionate individuals who share our commitment to excellence and thrive in an environment that values craftsmanship above all else. Experience with reading blueprints and working with a vast variety of material is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Keeping the shop organized and efficient.
- Working with shop foremen to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Vendor pick ups
Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- 1-2 years’ experience with fabricating machines
- Provide work samples or portfolio link of prior professional work is preferred
Skills:
- Proficiency in using hand tools, saws, shears, welding equipment, etc.
- Ability to read shop drawings
- Cool under pressure and able to juggle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to fabricate and assemble parts using various techniques
- Problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Strong communication skills
