Position Summary: Eventus Education is seeking a dynamic Assistant Director to join our team. The Assistant Director will support the Director in ensuring that the school campus maintains the highest standards of educational excellence, safety, and operational efficiency. This role requires a visionary leader who is passionate about early childhood education and has a proven track record of managing people and programs.
The Assistant Director reports to the school's Director and owns all outcomes of the school, working to meet goals set by both the network and the director herself/himself.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Provide strategic leadership, scheduling, and oversight of all school operations.
- Supports the school’s Director, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to manage the school effectively.
- Foster a positive and collaborative culture across the campus, promoting professional growth and development in alignment with the Eventus Education Principles of Successful Schools.
- Support sin the recruitment, screening, and hiring of all staff to support the program needs of the campus.
Operational Oversight:
- Ensure the campus adheres to Eventus Education’s standards for curriculum, safety, and operational procedures.
- Monitor school performance through regular evaluations and assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
- Serve as the school management platform lead regarding enrollment and tuition (Playground).
Compliance and Regulation:
- Ensure the campus complies with local, state, and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
- Stay informed about changes in early childhood education laws and regulations and implement Eventus Education policies and procedures accordingly.
- Manage student files to assure compliance with state and Eventus standards.
- Maintain the school’s regular maintenance and repair schedules.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and implement successful inventory and ordering processes for school supplies, including student food and snacks.
- Connect with vendors to provide the highest quality of service to our school community.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities and partnerships to support the growth and sustainability of the programs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, community members, and other
stakeholders.
- Represent Eventus Education at local and national conferences, meetings, and events to promote our mission and programs.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on program achievements and address any concerns.
Innovation and Improvement:
- Stay current with trends and best practices in early childhood education and incorporate them into Eventus Education’s programs.
- Lead initiatives to innovate and enhance the quality of education and care provided at each school.
- Collaborate with educators, researchers, and industry experts to continuously improve curriculum and teaching methods.
Qualifications:
- Must meet all State requirements and qualifications to serve as Assistant Director at the time of application.
- At least two (2) years of experience in the classroom as a lead teacher.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles, curriculum development, and the importance of regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, allocate resources, and drive operational efficiency.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to open and/or close the campus regularly each week in collaboration with the Director.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to improving educational opportunities for young children.
