Position Summary: As we expand our reach and impact, we are looking for a skilled and dedicated Business Manager to join our dynamic team. The Business Manager will oversee a wide range of operational and administrative duties within Eventus Education. This includes managing general HR functions, payroll, employee benefits, and administrative tasks, as well as assisting in the onboarding process for new schools. The role requires strong organizational skills, a proactive approach, ability to work as part of a fast-paced team, and a deep commitment to ensuring that all business functions run efficiently and smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources (HR) Management:
- Manage recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.
- Oversee employee performance evaluations, professional development, and employee relations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment laws, and regulations.
- Support employees with HR-related questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
- Monitor timesheets across our network of schools to assure compliance with corporate policies.
- Oversee payroll processes, ensuring that all employee payments are processed accurately and on time.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
- Coordinate with external vendors or service providers to resolve any payroll or benefits-related issues.
Administrative Oversight:
- Manage general office operations, ensuring a well-organized and efficient work environment.
- Assist with preparing reports, documents, and presentations for leadership meetings.
- Monitor office supplies and equipment, ordering and maintaining stock levels as needed.
- Organize and schedule meetings, events, and other company activities.
School Account Setup & Support:
- Oversee the setup of new school accounts and business licenses within the Eventus Education system.
- Coordinate with school representatives to ensure a seamless integration and implementation of services, including purchasing and vendor selection.
- Provide ongoing administrative support to schools, assisting with troubleshooting and resolving any account or service-related issues.
- Collaborate with the Head of Schools in the process of implementation new schools to the Eventus network.
- Track and maintain detailed records of school account activity and usage.
General Business Operations:
- Assist with budget planning and financial management, ensuring operational costs are kept within budget.
- Coordinate with school Directors to provide food program management and monitoring of resources.
- Oversee the monthly or bi-monthly subsidy payment allocation within our network’s CRM.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development of business strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a business management or HR role.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, employee benefits administration, and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- Knowledge of educational systems or experience working with schools is a plus.
- Ability to travel across the United States as needed.
- Passion for early childhood education and a commitment to improving educational opportunities for young children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
