Overview:
Ever Fresh Fruit Co is seeking an experienced LME Technician to join our maintenance team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and electrical equipment.
Job Summary:
The LME Technician will be responsible for monitoring, repairing and maintaining the plant's production and electrical equipment, including performing preventative, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance tasks. You will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to schedule and develop routine and preventative maintenance schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain processing equipment both mechanical and electrical
- Assist team leaders and machine operators in efficient line start up and equipment adjustments
- Perform building maintenance and repairs as needed
- Maintain documentation related to maintenance tasks
Requirements:
- 5 years or greater of general industrial maintenance experience
- In-depth knowledge of the electrical industry
- Familiar with motor control circuits, Sensors, VFD's, PLC's, light fixture ballast replacement
- MIG / TIG welding and fabrication of stainless preferred but not required
- Forklift experience preferred but will train onsite
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and components including chains, sprockets, gears, bushings, bearings, gear boxes and other moving parts
- Bilingual is a plus (English/Spanish)
- Self-starter, ability to work alone
- Availability and willingness to work flexible job hours as needed
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to hazards in the workplace such as proximity to equipment conducting extreme heat, moving parts and electrical current
- Must be able to work in an environment containing allergens (nuts, milk, wheat, etc.)
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts
