Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, with the ability to effectively communicate product features and benefits to customers. As a Sales Associate, you will play a key role in enhancing the customer experience and driving sales within our store.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their inquiries.
• Demonstrate product knowledge through engaging product demos, showcasing features and benefits to enhance customer understanding.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately, processing transactions efficiently while maintaining a balanced cash drawer.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries, promotions, and discounts effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are well-stocked and displays are visually appealing.
• Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance.
• Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette while addressing customer needs.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to a positive work environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of retail math principles is desirable.
• Ability to demonstrate products confidently through effective product demos.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 46 per week
