Meat Clerks are responsible for preparing various meats for the meat cases. As a meat clerk in the Meat and Seafood department, you will assist customers with questions, ensure quality control, keep cases tidy and attractive, and maintain stock in all meat department products.
Qualifications
- Strong food preparation and handling skills
- Proficient in meat cutting and knife skills
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Experience in the food industry, particularly in meat production
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices
- Culinary experience, preferably in a restaurant setting
- Ability to package products efficiently and maintain cleanliness in the workspace
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
