Ever-Roll Specialties Co. is a small company established in 1945.

Minimum requirements:
- 5 years’ of experience as quality champion with manufacturing companies
- Conscientious and responsible with a keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
- Superior communication, leadership, and organization skills.
- OSHA certification or relevant experience
- Experienced in MS Office
Job Duties:
- Supporting quality functions for the entire plant by providing leadership, support, and training in areas such as safety, 5S, Continuous Improvement, and Lean Manufacturing
- Ensuring that processes needed for the QMS are established, implemented, and maintained by generating Preventative Action Plans to improve quality, equipment downtime, and parts/hour
- Coordinate with the Engineering Manager to monitor and enhancing the QMS including Control Plans and Work Instructions
- Create inspection reports and quality plans
- Coordinating and participating in QMS and ISO audit activities with the Engineering Manager, verifying that production employees are adequately trained to established procedures
- Participating on Corrective Action teams with the Manufacturing Manager and generating/implementing effective corrective action that result in non-repeating issues following 8-D or other guidelines
- Create data collection processes to document ER QC resolution reports, following up with them and closing out with all parties; handle all RMA’s and work with Customer Service to prevent future customer complaints
- Reporting to the Leadership Team on the performance of the QMS and any areas for improvement
- Checking first and last pieces (as possible) for production runs, as well as random checks of all processes
- Helps to maintain ISO 9001:2015 level document control on the production floor. Signs off on documents as needed and works with the Manufacturing Manager to establish any sign-off protocols
- Communicates quality standards and parameters to ER team
- Generating preventive action plans that have positive effects on quality, equipment downtime, throughput, scrap, and parts/hour
- Training new operators by establishing Training Plans and experienced operators through Personal Improvement plans for operating, adjusting, and setting up machinery within the Ever-Roll Quality Management System, including documented audits
- Identifying quality candidates for hire and promotion within Ever-Roll
- Coordinate with the Document Coordinator to ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and logged
- Coordinates product testing processes and participates in product testing.
- Coordinates with the Manufacturing Manager to support/maintain safe work practices in the plant
- Reviewing all shipments before they leave the dock
- Works with the Manufacturing Manager to schedule production runs to meet customer expectations. Recommends action plans when required to meet customer needs
- Attends all required meetings, including bi-weekly Production Meetings
- Starts first shift, assigns tasks to first and second shifts
- Performs other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift at least thirty-five (35) pounds frequently
- Must be able to stand, move, and bend for at least 9 or more hours per day.
