Job description
Community service provider for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is looking to fill management positions for Adult Day Services. We are seeking candidates with supervisory experience, strong communication and organizational skills. Must have familiarity with DDD regulations and experience working directly with people with disabilities to be considered.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Ensure quality services are provided to the individuals served
- Supervise staff
- Ensure daily living and job skills training, community activities and recreation
- ISP planning and implementation
- Maintain daily, monthly, and annual required documentation (must be comfortable with electronic documentation systems)
- Involvement in client's medical support needs
- Plan and manage daily schedules
- Overall program management
- Empower individuals to reach his or her goals and cultivate purpose
- Coordinate and consult with your team to ensure goals are being met
- Implement methods and techniques to reach training and employment objective
- Contribute ideas for the ongoing development of the program and to better serve individuals
- Provide on-site staff support and supervisor follow-up to ensure compliance with all agency, state, federal and local standards
- Perform other duties as required by nature of the position, as requested by the Employment Services Coordinator and Executive Director
All manager positions involve hands on work that requires you to assist with all areas including personal hygiene, medication administration, daily household chores and support in the community.
Previous work experience in the field or a closely related field required. Management positions are Full Time, candidates must be able to work a flexible full-time schedule.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in DDD licensed programs, preferably as a manager or assistant manager
- Must have valid driver's license & meet identified standards for a good driving record
- Minimum of high school diploma; some college preferred
- Strong organizational & follow-up skills
- Strong interpersonal & professional communication skills
- Must be a team player
- Ability to pass criminal/registry background checks/drug screening
