Business Continuous Improvement Manager
The Business Continuous Improvement Manager plays a critical role in leading process improvement initiatives and operations analysis. This job is tasked with providing continuous improvement expertise and consultation to assigned business units, supporting and leading the execution of key divisional, departmental or cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives ensuring that clear targets, goals, and expectations are established, communicated, and executed.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Reviews process improvement and continuous improvement analysis to ensure procedures are in place to identify potential upgrades that would be ideal for business unit goals.
- Manages performance of business groups through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of continuous improvement projects and engagement, motivation and development of team.
- Identifies opportunities utilizing data and analytics for operational improvements by analyzing current operations, preparing cost/benefit analysis, developing business cases, identifying potential risks, and recommending process improvement priorities.
- Works with functional leadership teams across the organization to determine needs for business improvements and to strategize possible business solutions.
- Manages the development of business diagnostics designs that identify, quantify, and prioritize value creation projects in congruence with team feedback and input. Prepares and submits Change Management Office project intake documents and monitors progress of project to completion providing regular status updates to leadership teams.
- Oversees delivery of projects and process improvement initiatives. Partners with functional leadership teams to ensure that the transition to new programs and implemented solutions is smooth and effective.
- Provides input on potential process enhancements that would improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness within the organization.
- Ensures proper training and documentation is provided on Continuous Improvement action plans within the organization.
- Collaborates with key business owners and partners for the delivery of results and establishment of a culture of Continuous Improvement (e.g. customer insights idea generation, change management, communications, etc.).
- Working with corporate training teams, ensures proper training and documentation is provided on continuous improvement action plans within the organization. Serves as Sharepoint admin for various operational sites including developing and uploading new content, maintaining existing content and providing appropriate associate access. Facilitates new hire onboarding, system access IT tickets for ongoing position changes, and other system changes as operational shift dictate.

Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in process optimization, operations, or business management.
- Proven track record of implementing successful improvement initiatives.
- Professional certification such as a Lean Six Sigma, TQM, or Kaizen are highly desirable.
- Strong ability to analyze complex processes, identify inefficiencies and develop effective solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Undergraduate degree (preferred)
