Operational Oversight Analyst
The Operational Oversight Analyst evaluates the reliability and effectiveness within operational area. Under limited supervision, this job is responsible for reviewing the accuracy and effectiveness of the operational area(s) procedures and processes as well as identification and closure of self-identified issues and Compliance, Risk, and third-party identified issues. This job also identifies and recommends process improvements for management.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversees the monitoring, evaluating, and testing of financial records, processes, systems, and issues management remediation within operational area.
- Confirms the auditing of recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws, agreements, and policies as well as leading initiatives to remediate any identified gaps.
- Reviews findings and develops recommendations to management consistent with self-identified issues management procedure.
- Participates in cross-functional implementation of programs to enhance business functions including analysis of associate adherence to process/procedure expectations in operational areas.
- Reviews documentation of business processes, risk, and controls to identify potential enhancement opportunities and drive action plans to implement improvement.
- Analyzes operational policies and procedures currently in place within the organization to identify gaps and weaknesses.
- Develops and communicates new or revised policies, procedures, processes and related documents to appropriate team members and/or business units.
- Coordinates the compilation/production of various operational/regulatory reporting and coordinates delivery of reporting monthly.
- Position is adaptable to provide back-up support to other department operational roles, as needed.
Educational Requirements
- University (Degree) Preferred

- 3 Years Required; 5 Years Preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a Lead or Manager in a Bank Call center.
- Procedure writing with an end user in mind expertise.
- Proven ability leading new initiatives.
- Intermediate MS Office skills
This position is Hybrid. Hybrid work requires working in the office four days per week, with one flexible day to work remotely.
