The Project/Program Management job supervises a team of experienced professional level employees and plans, organizes, and controls resources/processes to achieve project/program objectives within scope, time, quality, and budget constraints. This job utilizes general knowledge of the project/business requirements to manage large, moderately complex projects for the organization. This job also sets policy and strategy for short-term goals, as well as goals and objectives for team members and provides coaching and feedback to help employees reach these goals.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Organizes project teams by assigning individual responsibilities, developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements necessary to ensure project is successful.
- Estimates the costs, resources, and time required to complete each phase of a project and allocates resources and tasks to ensure these targets are met, typically delegating responsibility to experienced professionals who have shown independence in prior assignments.
- Implements an established project plan and supervises progress and performance against this plan.
- Monitors the status of complex projects including cost, timing, staffing, and dependencies across multiple inter-related projects, as needed.
- Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing project on time and to budget.
- Leads project meetings and approves regular reports that communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team.
- Supervises the activities of outside contractors to ensure they are integrated into the project and that the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
- Manages performance of team through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure delivery of exceptional products and engagement, motivation, and development of the team.
- Serves as a liaison and builds bridges among cross-functional leadership teams.

Preferred Qualifications
- Banking industry experience
- PMP, PgMP or other project management certification
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines and achieve goals in a dynamic environment
- Leadership experience and/or experience training others in a relevant professional capacity
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including explanations of complex concepts
- Ability to travel 20% of the time
Hybrid work is a minimum of four days a week, one flexible day for remote work.
