About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the establishment of Vermont's first-ever weatherization training center. As the Weatherization Training Center Program Manager, you will play a key role in developing and implementing weatherization training curricula, including classroom instruction and hands-on field training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Development and Management: Collaborate with our internal instructional designer to design and implement weatherization training curricula. Oversee the successful launch and ongoing sustainability of the training site and programs.
- Instruction and Technical Expertise: Provide instruction on Vermont's Home Weatherization Assistance Program and energy-related topics. Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and regulations in weatherization and energy efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor training staff, including instructors and support personnel. Establish and manage an advisory committee of key stakeholders in the local weatherization industry.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in developing and managing training programs
- Strong knowledge of construction, weatherization techniques, building science, and energy auditing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
