Reporting to the Product Owner, this role will focus on gathering and prioritizing client-specific requirements, translating them into actionable plans, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in both business analysis and client engagement within a technical or software environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Engage with assigned clients to collect detailed requirements, understand their unique needs, and document use cases.
- Customization Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders to balance client-specific customizations against the core product roadmap.
- Technical Translation: Translate client requirements into actionable technical specifications for the development team, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
- Progress Communication: Provide regular updates to clients on project progress, manage expectations, and address any concerns promptly.
- Coordination: Work closely with the Product Manager and Technical Product Manager to align client needs with overall product goals and sprint plans.
- Operational Integration: Coordinate with adjacent operational projects supported by the software product to ensure alignment and seamless execution.
- Compliance Support: Assist in tracking and managing requirements for SOC 2 compliance related to client engagements.
- Proposal Contributions: Prepare technical responses to contract proposals, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
- System Administration: Perform basic system administration tasks such as managing account access and permissions for assigned clients.

Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or client engagement within a software or technical environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies; ability to work effectively with technical teams.
- Jira Expertise: Hands-on experience using Jira for issue tracking, project management, or sprint planning is required.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges proactively and work collaboratively to resolve them.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with SOC 2 compliance requirements is a plus but not mandatory.
