Job Title: Laboratory Operator
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Training, certification, or degree from a technical college or vocational school.
- 1-year experience in related position (job or apprenticeship)
- Strong knowledge using Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven working experience in a lab environment
- Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment
- Computer literacy and experience with Laboratory Information Systems
- Accuracy and close attention to detail
- Strong analytical judgement
- Background in rubber compounds preferred
- Strong analysis ability preferred
- Strong background in Quality Control
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under direct supervision, assists with the setup, calibration, and operation of equipment used in quality control. Works from verbal or written instructions, control plans, work instructions. Inspects production operations and finished product against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools. Determines and corrects minor machine malfunctions. Performs simple routine maintenance and cleaning. No prior experience required. Report to Quality Manager.
