The Operations Manager for Turfcor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing teams, and ensuring the efficient delivery of turf products and services. Primary responsibilities
- Conduct and manage daily operations of turf treatment services, including scheduling, routing, and quality control.
- Oversee, train, and develop field and office staff to ensure high caliber performance and adherence to company standards.
- Execute safety protocols and regulatory compliance across operations.
- Manage inventory, equipment maintenance, and supply procurement.
- Collaborate with sales to ensure efficient service, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency and profitability.
- Manage budgets, track expenses, and contribute to financial planning.
- Resolve customer concerns and complaints promptly, maintaining positive client relationships.
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on turf, landscaping, or a similar industry.
- Proven abilities in operations management, preferably within the turf, landscaping, or agricultural industries.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of industry best practices, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications
Additional Information:
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a combination of office and field environments. The ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, to meet business needs. Physical ability to inspect job sites and assist with operational tasks as needed. This position does not allow relocation or remote work.
