Inside Sales Representative

Everde Growers is a leader within the horticulture industry with a true coast-to-coast footprint consisting of over 6,700 acres in production encompassing 15 farm locations throughout Texas, Florida, California, and Oregon. Our superior growing methods and pruning practices ensure high quality products which include trees, shrubs, perennials, palms, grasses, succulents, tropicals, fruit, and many other items.

Come join our Inside Sales team as a Representative at our Bunnell, FL location. You’ll provide sales support to the outside sales representatives by processing and assembling orders over the telephone, fax or other means. You’ll be able to develop an individual customer base of your own as well.

You will get to:

· Receive and respond to customer inquiries and orders, and provide delivery times

· Communicate daily with the Outside Sales Representatives and the Distribution Department, assuring orders get processed timely and the sales team gets their goals met

· Maintain call log to reach a goal of at least 25 customer calls weekly

- Track quotes/bids and meet weekly goal

· Prepare reports of business transactions, investigate & resolve customer issues, and work with outside sales representatives to keep account activities up to date

· Compile lists of prospective customers as sales leads from a variety of sources

- Make lead follow-up calls, to generate sales

- Handle problems for customers with deliveries

- Work with outside sales reps as needed to keep account activities up to date

- Travel with outside sales reps as required, also attend trade shows as required

- Travel on yard tours, conduct and participate with farm tours and jobsite visits as required

- Administrative support, data entry, prepare purchase orders, other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

· High school diploma or equivalent with associates' degree from an accredited two-year college, OR one to two years related experience and/or training.

· Must have knowledge of plant material in the landscape environment.

· Must hold a valid Driver’s License if required to drive.

· Must have computer proficiency and using a computer for 90% of a work day. (35 w.p.m.); Oracle experience is helpful but not mandatory, but should have working knowledge of all Windows desktop operations including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Working knowledge of the Spanish language is not required but a plus.
