Position Summary :
The Senior Systems Engineer works across a broad range of technologies and disciplines within IT, focusing mainly on Azure services. This role will be required to support the current Azure / Intune environment, designing system improvements and applying detailed troubleshooting and monitoring of our Azure infrastructure as needed. This role will require continual communication with our Engineering and Customer Support teams, ensuring IT supports critical teams and meets the required SLAs between departments and customers. The Senior System Engineer will also be expected to mentor and train other members of the IT team as needed.
Salary Range : $120,000-$140,000 / year, based on experience, plus bonus potential
Office Location : Greenwood Village (DTC), CO – hybrid
Responsibilities :
- Daily Azure administration
- Creation and Support of Azure Virtual Servers / Workstations
- Managing our Microsoft Service Fabric
- Service Bus and Application gateway experience
- Experienced administrator of Entra and Intune
- Intune Application deployment
- Monitoring Defender logs and Security score
- Microsoft 365 Administration – Exchange, OneDrive / SharePoint, Teams
- Experienced in using PowerShell for administrative and automation tasks
- Supporting the M365 Suite
- Atlassian Service Administration – Confluence, Jira, JSM
- Source control management - Azure DevOps / Git
- Azure virtual networking design, implementation and monitoring
- Monitoring Security concerns and taking forensic actions as needed.
- Daily team collaboration meetings and discussions with other departments
- Monitor Exchange and Security logs and acting accordingly to ensure a safe and secure environment for the enterprise
- Strong Documentation skills – design and deploy detailed documentation when required
