Job Summary
As a Plumber with Eveready Service Experts, you'll diagnose, service, and install plumbing systems in residential and light-commercial environments. You'll ensure work complies with relevant codes and maintain necessary licenses.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Maintain and repair plumbing systems by replacing defective parts and inspecting high-pressure systems for leaks.
- Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances, and fixtures using hand or power tools.
- Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angle.
- Review blueprints, building codes, and specifications to determine work details and procedures.
- Ensure company property, vehicles, and tools are properly used and maintained.
- Maintains current licenses and follows standard procedures and processes.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with on-the-job and formal classroom training in plumbing work.
- Four years' experience in plumbing repair, maintenance, and installation with additional on-the-job training.
- Plumbing and/or gas license as required by local, state, provincial, or national governmental regulations.
- EPA and safety certifications required.
- Current knowledge of and continuing education in national, state, and local plumbing code regulations.
