POSITION SUMMARY
Functions as a member of the EFCU senior management team, participates in establishing and implementing major credit union goals and objectives, and serves as a resource in all aspects of retail operations and member services. Responsible for supporting credit union operations, all products, platforms, and channels. Develops relevant policies, procedures, and training to ensure that all products and services of the credit union are professionally distributed, effectively tracked/measured, and that quality operational support is provided to all staff and members.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Ensure credit union deposit and digital services are supported in a professional, innovative, member-focused manner.
- Provide oversight to all Admin support services including deposit operations, data analysis, and product sales campaigns.
- Oversee debit and credit card management operations in conjunction with outside vendors.
- Serve as the business owner for the banking core system including configuration changes, upgrades, integrations, and leveraging new functionality.
- Manage digital member experience including national branch operations, online banking, video banking, texting, and ATMs.
- Develop strong individual relationships and collaborative teams.

- Assist in the creation of marketing/sales plans and measurements for growth
- Provide marketing operations and member service tactical support including product development, reporting, and tracking.
- Establish and maintain effective communication, support, and coordination with the VP of Member Services, management team, credit union staff, and members. Travel to branch locations to assist staff with operational training and system support functions.
- Create or assist in the creation of operational policies and procedures. Ensure that policies and procedures reflect external rules and regulations and are communicated to and implemented by all staff.
- Respond to technical and operational questions or problems from credit union staff and make appropriate referrals, recommendations, suggestions, etc.
- Respond to complex or problematic operations or systems questions as appropriate and ensure the highest quality of internal and external satisfaction.
- Identify areas for improvement, changes in procedures, new developments, market opportunities, or changes in services or products. Keep staff up to date on trends and general credit union information. Schedule regular educational/training sessions for all staff.
- Prepare and disseminate information pertaining to credit union trends, security issues, operations, regulations, and services to department staff regularly. Recommend programs and projects beneficial to the credit union and its members as a result of research, trends, member satisfaction surveys, etc.
- Ensure professional business relationships are established and maintained with members, vendors, the business community, and trade organizations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an equivalent combination of formal financial services training and experience
Required Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of Everence deposit, loan, and transactional products and applicable policies and standards
- Understanding of government regulations and legal requirements for credit union operations
Experience:
7-10 years of progressive management experience in a credit union or similar financial institution
