Cisco Wireless Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cisco Wireless Engineer to review redesign and implement innovative wireless solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in wireless network engineering particularly with Cisco technologies.

Core Competencies and Skills :

• Cisco Wireless Technologies : Deep understanding of Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLCs) Access Points (APs) and associated technologies (e.g. RF management mobility security).
• Wireless Protocols : Proficiency in IEEE 802.11 standards (a / b / g / n / ac / ax) WiFi Alliance certifications (e.g. WiFi CERTIFIED) and their applications.
• Network Design and Implementation : Ability to design plan and implement complex wireless networks including site surveys RF planning and AP placement.
• Troubleshooting and Optimization : Expertise in diagnosing and resolving wireless network issues optimizing performance (e.g. RF interference channel utilization roaming) and ensuring high availability.
• Security : Knowledge of wireless security best practices including WPA / WPA2(3) encryption and guest access.
• Automation and Orchestration : Familiarity with network automation tools and orchestration platforms (e.g. Cisco DNA Center) for efficient network management.
