Your Impact & Opportunity As a Program participant, you will need to think both creatively and analytically, problem solve, and make decisions equipped with technical knowledge you will garner in the program. Throughout the two years, you can expect four (4) rotations, exposure to our insurance and reinsurance businesses, instructor-led workshops, monthly spotlight speaker series with executive leadership, networking events, self-paced course work, and the like. You will be performing actuarial pricing analyses on individual insurance and reinsurance transactions in support of our underwriting operations. Provide data analysis and industry research for senior actuaries and underwriters. Provide model engineering support for solutions and technology teams. Produce full-depth performance monitoring reports and provide business, pricing, and loss development insights. Maintain and innovate upon existing reinsurance data structures and pricing processes. Everest will provide support and company time for studying for the CAS Actuarial exams leading to Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) What You Bring: Experience & Qualifications You are a senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or other quantitative disciplines of similar rigor Completion of 1 – 2 exams is preferred You enjoy fostering collaborative relationships Flexible and responsive to dynamic business needs including tight turnaround times and limited data Comfortable with autonomy, responsibility, and visibility Excel expertise as well as competency in at least one of the following: SQL, VBA, R, SAS, Python, or other coding language Dynamic thinker, with attention to detail and willingness to take on a variety of projects and develop creative end-to-end solutions Everest does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
