Job Category: Analytics Job Description: The insurance Actuarial Group of Everest Insurance, a member of the Everest Re Group, Ltd. is currently recruiting for a Lead Pricing Actuary role to provide support to Everest’s Casualty Insurance business. This is a hybrid position based out of our Warren or New York City offices; other locations may also be considered. The ideal candidate will be high-energy, with a strong desire to learn and develop, and be attracted to the opportunity to develop new tools & capabilities within a rapidly expanding business. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Continuous communication with Underwriting and support to develop strategic initiatives Development and enhancement of rating models Planning and portfolio strategy, including periodic ELR analyses and deep dive studies Portfolio price and risk monitoring New product development Large account pricing referrals Qualifications, Education & Experience: 5-10 years of experience in the property-casualty insurance industry with significant commercial line pricing experience Anywhere from ACAS to FCAS Experience in large account pricing and Excess pricing is a plus Excel expertise a must Proficiency in at least one of the following is a plus: SQL, Excel VBA, Power BI, R, SAS, Python Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Enjoys fostering collaborative relationships Flexible and responsive to dynamic business needs including tight turnaround times Comfortable with autonomy, responsibility and visibility Detail-oriented with strong problem solving skills and ability to learn concepts and software tools quickly Very strong written and communication skills that cover experience communicating with analytical stakeholders as well as business-oriented stakeholders What if I don't meet every requirement?
