The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams, security engineers, and infrastructure specialists to ensure robust networking, security, automation, and operational excellence across multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud). This role requires deep expertise in cloud networking, security controls, zero-trust architecture, containerization, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC). The candidate should be well-versed in network segmentation, firewalls, identity and access management (IAM), and Cloud Native Security. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage secure and scalable multi-cloud environments with a strong focus on cloud networking and security best practices. Develop and enforce cloud security policies, ensuring compliance with frameworks such as NIST, CIS Benchmarks, and Zero Trust Architecture. Architect and optimize cloud networking solutions, including VPC peering, hybrid connectivity, private endpoints, and firewalls. Lead container security efforts, integrating Kubernetes security policies, pod security standards, service mesh, and runtime protection tools. Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using Terraform. Implement continuous security monitoring and vulnerability management. Collaborate with development teams to design secure microservices architectures, API security mechanisms, and service-to-service encryption strategies. Conduct network forensics, traffic analysis, and incident response for cloud security events. Define and maintain cloud governance, identity & access controls (Azure AD, AWS IAM, Google IAM), and privileged access management (PAM). Drive cost optimization and resource management by analyzing network traffic, reducing egress costs, and implementing serverless where applicable. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a security-first mindset across cloud engineering teams. Work Experience and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, networking, and security engineering. Expertise in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) with a strong focus on cloud networking, IAM, and security best practices. Deep knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, VPN, TLS), firewalling, and cloud-native security tools (Azure Firewall, AWS WAF, Google Cloud Armor). Experience in container security for Kubernetes (AKS, EKS, GKE), Istio/Service Mesh, and supply chain security (Sigstore, SLSA). Strong hands-on skills with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform). Proficiency in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, PowerShell, Go) for cloud security and operational tasks. Familiarity with DevSecOps principles, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Jenkins. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud security and networking issues. Relevant cloud and security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, CCSP, CKA/CKS) are a plus.
