Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Terraform Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform Cloud. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in migrating our on-premises infrastructure to cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Migration from Terraform Enterprise (TFE) to Terraform Cloud (TFC) (Mandatory)
- Platform Upgrades/Migrations to the Latest Version
- Assess and generate a detailed roadmap for migration from Terraform Enterprise (TFE) to Terraform Cloud (TFC)
- Design and maintain automation infrastructure for service continuity and capacity expansion, including high availability design
- Maintain and operationalize Terraform
- Rationalize and consolidate multiple Terraform instances into 1-2 TFE
- Create and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Maintain a central store of configuration data for use by multiple teams in a multi-environment setup
- Provision infrastructure including servers, networking, storage, and cloud resources
- Develop automation scripts and tooling using IT automation tools
- Build a CI/CD pipeline, including build/test/deployment workflows
- Monitor system performance to analyze performance, security, and reliability
- This is a highly critical role, and we need someone who can efficiently manage and streamline processes to ensure smooth operations across multiple environments
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience as a Terraform Cloud Engineer or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Expertise in designing and implementing infrastructure as code solutions using Terraform.
- Solid understanding of cloud migration strategies and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of networking, security, and compliance requirements in cloud environments.
- Experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
