What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager - Engineering position at Everest Infrastructure Partners?
Looking for a self-motivated and organized individual to join our Engineering & Operations Group. Position provides integral support to Everest’s Leasing, Construction, and Acquisition activities. Responsible for maintaining the integrity of our Tower database/Antenna inventory. Role requires combination of hands-on involvement in projects as well as management of external resources to accomplish stated goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintains Tower data attributes, such as loading, capacity, modifications, inspections, & drone data using company database (Salesforce/Sitetracker/Excel) and other related software applications.
• Supports Everest Leasing Project Managers in reviewing and processing applications for new/existing Tenant equipment installations on Everest Towers and rooftops. Supports Everest Construction Managers in resolving any engineering field issues, as required. Reviews Construction close out packages at project completion as part of Tower database integrity efforts.
• Manages outside Engineering Firms in the procurement, review and acceptance of various Engineering documentation required to support our leasing and acquisition activities including but not limited to Structural Analysis reports, Tower Modification Designs, Construction Drawings, TIA Inspections, Tower/Foundation Mapping reports, Geotechnical Investigations, Drone Scans, etc. Ensures all Engineering documentation is properly organized and stored in appropriate data folders in keeping with Company filing standards.
• Prepares Engineering, Inspection, Modification and Construction/Repair RFQ’s as required. Reviews results and prepares RFQ/Bid summaries and Contractor recommendations.
• Reviews TIA-222 Inspection reports and assists Operations Team in developing, prioritizing and implementing Tower Repair & Maintenance program.
• Assists Everest Director of Engineering in the development and maintenance of Company Engineering & Construction standards.
• Assists in due diligence and onboarding of new Tower asset acquisitions (Asset condition assessment and Engineering documentation inventory).
• Performs other related duties as required to ensure ongoing integrity of Everest Tower & Rooftop assets.
• Some travel required.
Education and/or Experience:
• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field preferred.
• 2 years of wireless telecom experience
• 2 years of management experience
• Strong computer skills – MS office, Salesforce, Sitetracker, AutoCAD and/or 3D visualization software experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Good planning and organizational skills
• A valid driver’s license required
• Working knowledge of TIA-222, NESC, NEC and OSHA standards
• Knowledge of budget development and execution
