About the Role:
Although we are currently in the North American market, we see great opportunity to expand our markets. To support this, we are currently looking for an AVP, Underwriting, Program Manager Accident Supplemental Heath, to manage our Supplemental Health business in our Accident & Health department. This is a hybrid position based in one of our offices: Warren, Atlanta, Chicago, Houston.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead program manager for the product line
Account executive in charge of internal and external relationships
Continually develop subject matter expertise for the Supplemental Health Block
Market-facing business development.
Collaborate work closely with Zonal BDM’s.
Develop and manage new Supplemental Health programs
Collaborate with Head of Underwriting on supplemental Health underwriting guidelines & pricing
Work closely with Home Office/Corporate Underwriting, actuarial, product development, claims, and legal teams.
Assist in achieving renewal retention plan by issuing timely renewal notices, working closely with the broker through the renewal life cycle, and providing timely updates to the regional manager.
Ensure data and document repository systems are complete and accurate.
Ensure knowledge of and compliance with key regulatory, conduct and risk management responsibilities and ensure contract certainty on cases managed.
Take personal responsibility for career development and pro-actively keep up to date with industry and business issues and changes.
Risk assessment strategy.

Qualifications:
Minimum 3-10 years of relevant underwriting experience
College degree or the equivalent
Prior experience with reinsurance terms and processes, both treaty and facultative
Strong interpersonal skills
Commitment to business development
Strong communication and auditing skills
Solution-oriented mindset
Willingness to travel
Salary : $69,000 - $110,000
