About the Role
The Technology Resiliency Director will serve as the organization's technical resilience program lead, responsible for developing and implementing an enhanced technology resilience program.
This includes establishing and maintaining all enterprise disaster recovery policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
The role will also ensure the organization has sufficient technology recovery contingencies and ensure appropriate application backup / failover testing is conducted.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing an enhanced technology resilience program
- Establishing and maintaining all enterprise disaster recovery policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Working with Infrastructure and Development teams to develop application failover runbooks and associated standards
- Experience with Rubrik immutable backup architecture, design, and implementation
- Identifying and tracking issues that arise with the firm's disaster recovery program
- Ensuring an appropriate remediation plan is created and enacted
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience
- 7-10 years of experience in disaster recovery planning and failover testing of technology components
- 2-3 years of Azure cloud resiliency architectures and solutions
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including data storage and backup, network infrastructure, virtualization, and disaster recovery strategies
- Experience with ServiceNow and Jira
- Experience with resiliency tools such as Everbridge and Fusion Risk Management
