About the Role: This position will be responsible for executing territory sales and distribution strategy for a rapidly growing Accident & Health business within Everest Insurance. This position will be responsible for Everest Accident & Health in its new business goals for Group Personal and Travel Accident insurance products. The selected candidate will closely collaborate with the leadership team to establish appropriate and strategic actions plans to achieve the desired production goals. The individual in this role will also foster long-term relationships with internal A&H team stakeholders, as well as with the Everest Insurance Regional Team in their territory to effectively develop and foster retail distribution partnerships in the desired product segments. Within the Corporate and Business Travel segments, the position will focus in the areas of travel risk management (both insured and non-insured travel and medical assistance service) solutions across small, medium, and large corporate. This further includes marketing Multinational Business Travel solutions. In the Group, non-Corporate segments, the role will focus on distribution capabilities to support the growth of our participant accident, K-12 student accident, volunteer, day care, camp, and amateur and youth sports segments. Potential Role Responsibilities Support the Group and/or Individual business segments to develop and meet new business production goals selling A&H products. Acquire new distribution partners to drive premium growth. Distribution partnerships include, but are not limited to retail broker, general agents, MGA/MGU, and affinity relationships. Build connections across A&H and Everest Insurance to source new partnership opportunities. Evaluate new partnership opportunities that create strategic value and align with A&H products. Develop deal structures that drive growth and profitability for Everest and partners. Lead contract negotiation efforts with distribution partners. Closes deals in a timely manner. Develop and manage a robust pipeline of distribution partners/opportunities. Manages the sales forecasting process for their territory. Job Requirements Minimum 10 years of business development and sales experience A&H experience and Insurance industry experience Must reside in California. Ability to work effectively individually with strong organizational skills. Experience working with clients and building relationships. Bringing established contacts/relationships with target clients preferred Ability to understand partner value propositions and P&L’s/financials. Skilled at identifying win/win situations to develop strong partnerships. Analytic and financial analysis competencies; results driven/oriented. Ability to travel – 50%, or as otherwise required. Highly effective oral and written communication skills including presentations, persuasion, timing, and negotiation. Strong collaboration and relationship management skills Ability to coordinate efforts of a variety of internal functional disciplines to accomplish goals. Ability to manage contracts and negotiations and oversee the smooth day-day running. Sales skills in including metrics and funnel management.
